" At that moment, I felt so close to her. And through my tears, I understood why she had sacrificed and cared so much for her family. I realized her love for us was so deep, so wide, so unconditional - a love I was only beginning to learn to give."

-- Libby C. Carpenter

My oldest daughter gave this sweet book to me as a present when she first announced that I was going to be a YaYa (Greek for grandma)! I love to re-read these charming little stories from time to time, now that I have 5 grandchildren. Have you heard of this one or perhaps have it on your shelf? Maybe you've given it as a gift...

  5. That is a great quote. I'm like Irene, the Chicken Soup books are just too tear jerking for me. I have given a couple of them as gifts however.

Can you tell I'm catching up, my Friday got way too busy.

    Happy Weekend!
