I received a folded & gathered advance copy proof for review from LibraryThing. I was thrilled to get my hands on this one and take a peek since I had reviewed one of Mary's books previously, called Uh oh!
My Review
The rhyming text and silly play-on words had me from the beginning. Here's another beautifully written story by Mary that takes the reader on a fun outdoor day with a boy and his dog. I especially like the colorful nature scenes and delightful animals. It's educational and engaging to associate sounds with familiar animals, like a dog and squirrel, plus a kitty and bunny; in addition to giggling over a string of words that come together like a musical phrase. ***** stars!
