I live on 2 1/2 acres, surrounded by an avocado grove, in San Diego, California. (United States). I am a very nice Greek lady and a Yia Yia. (That's Greek for Grandma). I am a piano teacher and have been teaching all ages and all levels for about 15 years. I've had the wonderful opportunity to play with many talented musicians for 30 years. I love jazz and I love to boogie with the blues! I am also a music teacher for a kindergarten class.
I love to read quality children's books (mostly picture books) for ages 4-8. I enjoy juvenile fiction, fantasy and inspiring Christian books. Then I blog about books and share my reviews.
I have been an Ambassador for Barefoot Books for several years and enjoy supporting school book fairs and fundraisers in my area by selling these wonderful books. I am very pleased with the quality of this line of children's books, along with great music Cds and great activitiy books, puzzles and games as well. I am passionate about music education and children's literature.
I am writing my own children's books now and hope to see them published one day! It's true, I have 3 wonderful grandsons and a lovely granddaughter who love to hear a good story!
