About The Book:
God wants to give you a heart just like Jesus.
Jesus felt no guilt; God wants you to feel no guilt.
Jesus had no bad habits; God wants to do away with yours.
Jesus had no fears; God wants the same for you.
Jesus had no anxiety about death; you needn't either.
My Review
I felt a need to grow deeper in my faith and this special devotional showed me my need to have a listening heart. If you want more of God in your life, then you'll really want to get to know Him, by listening and praying to Him. The more I read, I began to see that my nature and heart responses were not always like the heart of Jesus but I wanted it to be so. The confidence and hope I gained through this study (daily spending more time with God), is that He promises to change me completely to be like Him, when I will be in His presence one day. In the meantime, as a worshiper, He changes our faces through worship and He changes those who watch us worship. I love this part. I highly recommend "a thirty day walk" for a personal study and a deeper awareness to be like Christ.

About The Author
In just under two decades of writing, Max Lucado has accomplished more than most writers hope for in a lifetime. Most of his books have appeared on one or more best seller lists, including those published by the "New York Times," "USA Today," "Publishers Weekly," and the Christian Booksellers Association (CBA). Aside from hardcover books, Lucado's writings have also been published as children's books, videos, CD-ROMs, DVDs, music CDs, mass paperback booklets, apparel, giftware, bookmarks, calendars, study Bibles, workbooks, curricula, and plush products. In spring 2003, Hallmark/Dayspring Cards launched a new gift card line featuring excerpts from Lucado's writings--and has already sold more than one million cards.
Additional Readings
As many of you know, Max Lucado is one of my favorite authors. His writings are so warm and personable. His children's books are favored in our family and fill our bookshelves abundantly. Do you have a favorite of his? In case you are not acquainted with Max and have the time, here are some previous book reviews of mine posted awhile back from the same, wonderful author.
