Review

So the kid's NIV Visual Study Bible is like a textbook for the older child who is a serious student of the word in a Christian school. You will find the Old and New Testament contents of the Bible, along with an infographic index and maps in the back. The colorful illustrations are wonderful, too. I especially like the questions asked on the front page of each book of the Bible. For example, Who Wrote This Book? Why Was This Book Written? What Do We Learn About God In This book? Who Are The Key People In This Book? Where Did This Happen? What Are Some Of The Stories In This Book? Love using the ribbon marker and this fresh approach to studying God's word. It's a beautiful bible and perfect for gift-giving, as well as at home and church libraries. The downside for me, the font is too small and the book is too heavy to hold. Overall, a great learning experience in exploring people, places, and history of Bible times.

4/5 stars.
